Hey guys,
New to these forums, I am a content creator looking for someone to help out with a video that I am trying to salvage.
The current footage is choppy and I am looking for anyone who has experience in fixing these kinds of video so that it is smooth.
The footage is a 3 minutes, so you guys can see the gameplay. If you're able to fix it, there is a reward of $1,000 USD to the first person to fix it or give me the right directions to fixing it (and works).
Also, for context, this will be posted on a few forums/communities as this is an urgent request. I will let you guys know if I have found someone who has come with a solution so that you guys also don't waste further time.
The video footage is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/198BRfMgq0J-XtYC9vujfz_rX9-xGInBU/view
Apologies for the large file!

You can't just magically "fix" ~56 missing fps to smooth 60 fps.
-
Nobody ever pays those either.
Years ago, somebody offered $100 to fix a 3-minute video.
I could fix it, gave him a tiny sample clip.
Suddenly, the story changed. "OMG, $100 for 3 minutes is ridiculous!" Next he tried to haggle, starting at $10. Pathetic. Blocked.
If you want to offer $100 or $1000, then use Upwork.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

I can not help. But, as others have stated, you are beyond help. And even if one could I still guess there would be an 'excuse' not to pay.
In these situs you consider where how you went wrong and solve it yourself - however much it costs (and sometimes it is 'cheaper' to start again).
But here is the puzzling thing. I did look at the original clip linked to. That was not, as inferred, 3 minutes but was 21 mins and 2.8 gig. Looked again today and now I see 3 mins at 1.4 gig and the footage was different. Now one sees smooth motion in the right frame but 'jerky' motion' in the left. But, surely, if both were not synced how could they both marry up ?
But if you expect help, even from a 'sucker' who may not be rewarded for his effeorts, you upload an original and not one that has been re-encoded by Google (even if that has not materially altered the sample not that one could be sure)

This thread should be deleted or locked and the member removed, The scam most likely goes like this, A fake check with an amount greater than the agreed upon will be sent out and needs to be cashed, once cashed and before it bounces the scammer will ask for the difference paid to him as gift cards or via a money mule or bitcoin or whatever non traceable method. When the check bounces you lose the money and get arrested. So don't believe anything nowadays, Everything is not you, wants to scam you.

^^ I lurve your analogy of how this would play out.
Maybe the OP has already found a 'sucker' elsewhere. Of course the 'cry for help' could be genuine. Yet any 'pro' should have already appreciated that the best help is when you help yourself.
But 'Fake' the problem and there is always a mouse ready to fall in to the mouse-hole.

I recently made a comment at dFAQ about baiting scams by "customers" since 2020. Your exact method is unlikely, but more likely is a variation of a standard payment scam. POS "customers" trying to get free work (usually "restoring" Youtube crap), then want to vindictively inflict financial damage (fees for bad payments, be it Paypal, check, whatever). It's a mix of trolling and petty scamming. It's not standard India SOBs either, but copycat GenZ kiddies in the U.S., the ones who thing trolling is fun, and have an SBF/FTX type attitude about money crime.
^ This comment was laughable BS. "high production"? More like "kiddie gamer wants to rescue his bad gameplay OBS recording."
@all: So look harder at my GenZ comment above. Very fitting.
On a related note, the "bounty" offers, usually the "help me identify a car/person" videos, have increased in recent years. Always ridiculous, too much watching fake CSI type shows. Honestly, VH should just ban these sort of topics. Both bounty asks and the "help me CSI" posts.Last edited by lordsmurf; 4th Jan 2023 at 15:51.

That quote was a direct reference to the financial fraud method stated by dellsam34.
However, since you seem to be confused by the quote, I'll expand on it for you...
No scammer from any other country ever ever calls with:
- your electric company wants to give a (FAKE!) refund
- your social security number has expired
- your Amazon/Norton/Microsoft/whatever account has been hacked
- Amazon/Norton/Microsoft/whatever wants to give you a (FAKE!) refund
- your Windows computer has been hacked
- "Are you in pain? Your doctor told us to call you." (Yeah, I have a pain in my ass, and it's you!)
- and many more
The "solution" is often to "pay back" an overpayment (FAKE!).

This is organized crime in India. Not some other country. India.
And their government is complicit.
You can be as woke as you want to be, good for you --- just not if it ignores facts, science, truth, etc.
And India = phone scam world capitol (95%+ originate there!) = fact.
Generalities (general rules) exist because those are generally true/accurate.
All rules have exceptions, but exceptions do not overrule the rule.
To date, referring specifically to the issue mentioned, it has almost always been older GenZ'ers (mid 20s). Never GenX or older, rarely Millennials, and the next gen is all just children right now. Again, the ones who think trolling and financial fraud is funny. Obviously that's not all GenZ, but those "customers" are almost entirely within GenZ.
Some people always cry when you profile others. But guess what? It's simply an assessment of traits of those being discussed. We all fit into cohorts. This exact situations, that's the cohort.Last edited by lordsmurf; 6th Jan 2023 at 00:26.

Usually older generations are the victims of Indian scams, The vast majority of scams' victims are retirees, they are perfect victims because they have savings, computer illiterates, Tech unsavvy, and they lost track of how a company would conduct business in modern days, that's why they believe that, for example Microsoft or the social security administration can call you and ask you to get up and go to target and buy gift cards for them so they can solve your problem, Yes part of it is stupidity and the other part is age, they just don't know how things work anymore. Some middle age and younger generation do fall for it because of their stupidity. US, UK and Australia governments (that's where most scams happen because of the English language) should step in and put an end to this, but I don't think they care as long as it doesn't affect the politicians' donors.
-
Scammers target over-65 phones. They acquire these numbers from black market sources. As you can guess, the data isn't always vetted and accurate. So under-65 numbers land on the list. The calls can literally happen a dozen times per day, or more.
Some of the scams are crafty, but usually not. Most victims are uneducated. Many are just aged, confused, bewildered.
US/UK/Aus politicians don't want to press India too hard.
India is a very nationalist country. Too many of its people see nothing wrong with screwing foreigners. Indian politicians and police are bribed, to further insure the scammers left alone. It takes a massive well-publicized multi-country effort to get anything done. India makes arrests purely to it save face, give some lip service, but the charges are later dropped.
