I just burned my first dvd using winavi and nero for the burning.
I just have a couple questions..
I have some avi s and vcd on my harddrive, is there any way to make the qulity better using winavi or any other program?
And the sound was very low compared to the original file when I played it on my dvd player, is there any way to increase the volume?
I have short movies i'd like to put on one dvd. How do load the files on nero so the parts are in order and can I drag all the files from all the movies over for burning or do need to put them is seperate folders?
Last question, is it a good idea to max out the bitrate for better qulity?
I'm not even sure if winavi allows you to do that.

Garbage In Garbage Out. But you could always try an other video encoder too see if it looks better, like tmpgenc, mainconcept mpeg encoder.Originally Posted by MEANGUNS

You may be able to rescue the avi files with filters through either virtualdub or avisynth. Like said, don't expect miracles though. Goldwave will change volume levels, it is the best tool I've used for that purpose. The meters help a lot. I'm not familiar with winavi so I can't help much more...Originally Posted by MEANGUNS
