    Aspect Ratio 4:3 or 16:9 ?

    so which is better? my TV is Sony 32inch Trintion XBR flat screen.

    16x9 will only really look better than 4:3 on a true 16x9 screen or on a 4:3 screen that has a 16x9 "compression" mode. Not too many of those around though at least not the USA.

    What I mean is 4:3 televisions with a 16x9 "compression" mode is not the norm for most 4:3 televisions.
