    I d/l a dvd-r movie. After unpacking I had a .img file. What program do I use to burn this to a dvd? I did a online search for that file extension and was told it was a bitmap graphic file which I know its not.

    I am now assuming that the movie you downloaded does not infringe copyrights and is legal in every other way. Otherwise you are in breach of the AUP.

    Use DVDdecrypter. It will burn img.
