    I just got a new computer with AIW 9800 Pro Card. Made first video(VCR to mpg) and had one problem. Every once in a while the top part of the screen would brighten. For example, the top part of the screen would brighten, in a thin horizontal line for a split second and then return to normal. This happened in VirtualDub too. Sounds like an interference problem, but from where?

    Settings used:
    720X480
    6.0 Mbit/second
    48000 KHZ 224 audio
    Encode interlaced
    video soap:light/strength 60%

    I looked at the movie on my VCR and there was no brightening of the screen. Please advise.
