  1. I know this is probably the most dumbiest question ever but how do I copy a VCD safely without any messed up frames? I usually just click and drag the files to the HDD. I copied the same VCD on my HDD about three times and I don't want to waste my time on doing something simple but causes problems. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

A straight disk copy using any burning S/W should work just fine.

Best not to copy on the fly. Let it go to your hard drive first . A more reliable burn that way.

I would create an image and then burn that. You can do it with Nero or Alcohol 120% among others.

    I use CloneCD.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  6. I am putting it to my HDD because I like to edit them, like putting chapters and other things to it.

  7. isobuster to pull the mpeg stream to hard drive.

Others have reported doing a straight copy from .dat to hard drive and then renaming the extension .mpg work great. Others have reported that it has given them problems.

  8. CloneCD at 4x. I can't go any faster than 4x. Maybe if I had a faster burner...
