DVD-lab gives me USED DVD-RW message and wont let me burn

I have a blank DVD-RW and want to use it to test out my first try with putting 2 SVCD movies onto a DVD, but when i click write it says Used DVD-RW. I clicked the erase/Format button, but I STILL get Used DVD-RW message. Anyone know why this is?

Yeah, the burning engine in DVD-Lab is very rudimentary and shouldn't be used. You'll get better results using a dedicated burning program like Nero or Record Now.
