I have a Acer 10x4x32(1032a) burner, I have tried making vcd's with NERO and NTI CD-Maker, and I have the same problem, I put the cd in my Sony dvd player, and it says no cd, it is a very new player and it even says video cd on the player itself. Im not sure if i have to do something special to my player or if im using the wrong prog. Anyhelp would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

First off, check the DVD player compatability list on the left and see if your player supports cd-r. It may only handle cd-rw disks ( like mine
) and that could be your problem. Or it may be that it likes a particular dye colour or quality. They can be finicky things at times. I've only found three types of cd-rw that work in mine and even they're not a certainty.
Good luck.
