  1. In these weeks I have a bunch of problems that quite annoyed me as I can't do my weekly cap... Can all of you here help?

1: It seemed that my Marvel G400 suddenly cannot capture audio as was before. I've read quite a lot of experiences of G400-TV with SB Live! and all the PCI bus issues, but actually I'm using a SB AWE 64 Gold, which is ISA... I think there wouldn't be any bandwidth issues, and I can still watch TV with sound.

    2: See https://www.videohelp.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=65384&forum=2.

3: This is concerned with the program FreeVCR. I'm using beta 8, and did some capturing using Matrox Hardware JPEG. But the avi files I got cannot be opened with any software, saying that they cannot determine the format.

Can all here help me with all these problems? It have been two weeks...
    My box:
    K6-2+ 500 MHz
    EPoX MVP3C2 (VIA MVP3 Chip)
    192MB SDRAM
    Matrox Marvel G400-TV
Main HDD: WD WW600BB, hooked on a promise Ultra 100

  2. hi,
i have the same card, marvel g400 tv and SB live! platinum, anyways.. you might want to check the audio properties under recording, and see that you have the right input selected. or it could be that the wires are mixed up that are plugged into the sound card (the output, and input wires coming from the breakout box).
