I've been making vcd for a while. I use tmpgenc and nero. The vcds that I've been making were in any of the following formats, ntscfilm, ntsc or pal and there have been no problem on any of them when playback on the pc or a portable vcd player that I have.
However when I play them on my dvd player, I have lip sync problems on certain part of the vcd, ie picture goes very quick then I head the voice etc. This problem probably appears about 10 times on every vcd ( the ones that I've made) I've played on my dvd player.
This lip sync problem does not happen when I playback original vcd on my dvd player, so I was wondering if this problem can be cured? ie the use of vcdimager or some other burning program?

Do you have an Apex? Because Apex DVD players perform better when the compliance is turned off when burning using NERO. If this is not the problem than it may be your player. Very few DVD players can handle XVCDs accurately.
