    I want to convert VCD to smaller resolution DivX file to be viewed in my PocketPC.
    I converted VCD dat file to mpg file with Vcdgear. There were some "padding" errors but according to the log file, the erros were fixed. But when I tried to "OPEN VIDEO FILE" in VirtualDub, it said "MPEG Filter Packet sync error" and refused to load the video file. I turned on the "extended option" and still the same. So I tried to use VirtualDub to OPEN the dat file instead of the MPEG, but during the processing, 2nd pass has ERROR without any explanation on screen.
    I tried a couple of VCDs and they all have the similar problems.
    Can someone help please? Anyone has the similar experience to convert VCD to DivX for viewing in PocketPC?
