need help with avi to mpeg plzz

I'm at my wit's end after trying all the veriables and I still get the same result, a Red Hue that comes and goes on intervals.
I've used the wizard, no dice. I've tried different templates, no dice. I seperate the audio and run it, no dice.
Is it a value in the filter section <or custom filter section> that I'm neglecting?

If your using TMPGenc got to options - environmental settings - VFAPI plugins and up the priority on Direct Show multimedia file to 2 not -2. Purple shit sorted..............
