  1. i used to burn this bootleg concert to dvd in dv avi format using simple dvd maker, i shipped over 100 with no errors or complaints, ive since retooled the dvd adding more footage and menus and chapters using ulead dvd workshop. it looks great! i first converted to mpeg 2 dvd compliant with tmpgenc then authored with ulead.

well ive gotten 2 complaints lately of errors in the dvds that ive tested at home! one was an old apex i atributed to the player and another ive yet to hear the model.

my question is really ,is dvd mpeg 2 less compliant in players and prone to more errors than dv avi?
and does anyone konow a program that will burn dv avi straight to dvd like simple dvd maker( i had way too many errrors with this program ) thanx!

It may be the audio that is messing you up. When your burn it with Workshop, what audio are you using? Mpeg or LPCM (PCM)? LPCM has a higher compatibility than does mpeg audio.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
