Hello
When I record with AmarecTV I first turn on the record button and wait about 15 seconds before I press play on the 8mm camcorder.
However, when comparing the tapes with the digitized result (Lagarith) I notice that there are still several seconds missing from the beginning of the tape.
Why is this happening?
Is there a setting I might have missed?
Do you experience this problem and how do you address it?

Did you mean before I hit play on the 8mm camcorder?wait about 15 seconds before I turn on the 8mm camcorder.

I never experienced that, but I normally start a capture while the device is playing a blank section of the tape at the beginning of a recording. I will remove the unwanted noisy blank portion in post processing.

Just few seconds. I see the "noise pattern" in the preview windows, count a couple of seconds, and start capturing before the real recorded video arrives.

When possible I disable all NR features in the players and denoise in post-processing, which is more effective and produces more qualitative results.
