Hello all,
I bought this 1080P9 model in Europe years ago and it used to play any region. But a couple of months ago I tried to play a Region 2 and then a Region 4 disc. It didn't work. A message is displayed, something like 'an error occurred'.
I tried using one of my Region ALL discs and it works fine. So, not sure what happened...
I browsed your forums and found a clue: perhaps the grid numbers have changed, somehow.
The grid numbers I see currently are: 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 19, 25
Is there someone out there knowing how to solve this?
; )
Thank you.

Thanks for replying, october262.
Trust me: I tried all I could, even resetting to 'factory'.
The player keeps reading only 'Region ALL' discs.
The grid numbers are the key here.
If I can get the proper sequence, it might bring back the ability of playing as a Region Free as in the past.
No help even from Samsung. Very frustrating.

Hello again!
Is there anyone having a similar model 1080PR from original Region 2, who could provide me with the grid numbers?
At least I could be able to watch R2 discs again. The way it is now, only RAll are playable.
I appreciate your help.
Thanks.
