I just bought a new tuner/capture card and tho the volume is working, i cant get it to go up. I have tried master volume, the volume in the prog, etc.

You need to adjust the volume under the recording settings of windows volume control.

You have not updated your computer details, so we don't know what the card is, if its Mono, make sure the balance control is on the correct channelOriginally Posted by Akhet

Ok, I have the basic WIN TV 2000 PCI, also mono.
When I first got it, the audio recordings were low, I used www.goldwave.com for all audio work, and in the settings I did some checks. Eventually I moved the balance control to the left and the audio was then very loud.
Before it was very low
Even though I had left and right available going in on a stereo 3.5, it only listened to one channel.
