  1. "GNU VCDImager 0.6.2 [cygwin/i586]

    assertion "_vcd_salloc_get_highest (obj->iso_bitmap) + 1 == 225" failed: file "vcd.c", line 612
    0 [sig] vcdimager 232345 stackdump: Dumping stack trace to VCDIMAGER.EXE.stackdump"

    That's the message I keep getting. Only very small files, ten megs or so, seem to work. Bigger files, 200 megs or so, is a nogo. The encoder is Ligos LSX-LE.

    Anybody?

  2. please use the latest 0.7.x version; this message is caused by a limitation of the 0.6.x branch....

    usually it get's only triggered if the scantable grows too big... which should not happen for 200meg streams

    fyi, the scantable size depends directly upon the playing time of the streams...

  3. I used the vcdxbuild to build a bin/cue file using an XML file. The files are built fine. But when I try to burn them in NEro It gives me an error message that "The handle is invalid" & "Cannot find the bin file".
    Please help.

  4. Hey hvr, thanks for your reply!

    I tested with version 0.7.9. It now creates the bin but when I burn it using CDRWIN it shows incorrect tracklenght (68 min for 47 min episode) on Yelo 800 and refuses to ff and rew, whereas the disc created by 0.6.x presented correct lenght and allowed ff and rew.

    But as mentioned 0.6.x does not create the bin for me unless very small files are used. Apparently the change you mentioned on the other thread causes this.

    Is there any way to use the 0.6.x method for calculating the timecode but to extend it cover files that fill entire disc?

    Interesting thing, when I drag this 700 mb file on Nero it presents correct lenght of 47 min for the tracks' file properties. If I add blank scandata.dat I can watch the disc. It ffs and rews on Yelo 800 but not on Philips DVD711.

    Ofcourse Yelo 800 does not show the remaining playtime with blank scandata.dat. A feature that would be very useful if it only worked for the disc.
