PAL mpv to NTSC mpv, how?

1) How do you convert PAL mpv to NTSC mpv? (yes mpv not wmv)
I also have the accompanying mpa file, do I have to do anything with that?


2) How do you change 4:3 to 16:9? what software to use and how?
(guide somewhere?)

1. You get a dvd player that can output PAL to NTSC.
2. You don't as you have to crop and then zoom.

How about muxing them mpv and mpa back to mpg or avi... what kind of tool do I need? I'll search, I'll search... I just so new don't even know what to search.

Muxer? Encoder?

I use TMPGEnc Xpress and DGpulldown to convert PAL to NTSC.

It works fine.
Input audio and PAL video to TMPG, otput as Audio and video separate in PAL only change size to 720x480.
Than DGpull change framerate of video from 25 to 29.97
Than you can use any editind software to make menus or just TMPG to export DVD NTSC complient file and burn.

TMPGenc 2.5 free, has an option called "mpeg tools". You can mux them using this.

Another option is bbmpeg.
