    I am new to this and do not know what transport stream is.

    My compro Videomate card software can capture TV in MPEG-II or tyransport stream.

    Which would give best detail.

    I currently capture as MPEG-II and use VideoRedp PLus to edi it and it is working well.

    Just curious what is transport stream and how to use that. Will VideoRedo Plus process that?

    You should have checked our GLOSSARY: https://www.videohelp.com/glossary?T#Transport%20Stream

    A transport stream (.ts file) is usually from a high definition source like HDTV or satellite.

    VideoReDo Plus can process transport streams also.

    You may need to select the stream once you have loaded the file. Tools>Select Stream
