  1. I wonder is it possible to do something about an AVI-file that has the sound recorded/encoded? basicly in the left "speaker" only, i can hear a small sound in my headphones from the right "channel" allso
but i would like to have this file 50/50 on both sides, is there any known tool thath can achieve this?

its only this file thath is like this offcorse, just to clear thath it is not my headphones thath are failing so it sems like this files audio have been recorded/encoded(i dont know what therm i shall use) like this from the beggining

im not good in audio-therms as you can hear, so dont take them 100% i just hope you understand what i mean basicly

    Open the avi with Goldwave.
Copy the left to the right channel or make it mono.
    Save as wav or mp3.
Use virtualdubmod to add the new audio to the avi file under streams->streams list.
    Select Video->Direct Stream Copy.
Last File->Save as a new avi.

Have you opened the avi? and you see that one track is silent?
Then you can save it to mono directly under File->Save as and select Save as type: MP3 and select Layer 3 128kbits mono under Attributes.

    1)Download the following and unzip.

    process.zip

2)Copy your AVI file into the same folder as your unzipped app

    3) RENAME your AVI to INPUT.AVI - If everything is correct, your folder will look like this:

    ffmpeg.exe
    pthreadGC2.dll
    process.bat
    input.avi

    4) Double click on Process.bat Your "fixed" file will be called output.avi

It did not work for me, thank you however, i used the other method and i have the MP3 now in mono. 74 mb - 1.19 min

now there is only one problem left probably, when i use Virtualdubmode and/Open Avi File the movie fails to load
    and i get this

    - Error Decompressing video frame 0: An Unknown Error Occured /maybe corrupt data.(error code -100)

well i dont even know if shall start to load the AVi like this bu all other movies load correct!

what is the next step for me?

"It did not work for me"

Please, a little more information would help us to help you. Did you get an "Output.avi" file at the end ?

Sorry, it was like this, i followed your instruction, but nothing happend when i klicked Process.bat..just a black dos-windows with some unreadable text where popping up in 1 sec. but after there where no "Output.avi" still a "input.avi" (i tested all kinds of combination renaming after, but none of the helped)

    therefore i tested GoldWave instead

    AHA ! You are right.

Open the process.bat file in Notepad

    Change from this:

    ffmpeg -i input.avi -vcodec copy -acodec mp3 -ac 1 -ab 224 -y -async output.avi

    to THIS

    ffmpeg -i input.avi -vcodec copy -acodec mp3 -ac 1 -ab 224 -y output.avi
