sorry i did not know what to name this but i have a sony dcr-trv350 camcorder it has backwards compatibility and also a video in/out so i can hook up a vcr to it right?
now what im wondering is if i hook up a vcr to the camcorder then the cam to the pc using i.link will the quality of the video be great or just good. I have used a sony dvr-tvr140 and connected to the pc using the usb im guessing 1.0 and it was slow out of sync so im wondering will the firewire make a big improvement i think so right?
and after hooking up the vcr i was going to capture using windv then use tmpgenc to encode then tmgenc dvd author to make it into dvd can anyone give me some tips
