  1. Whenever I rip videos from my DV camcorder to my computer I always get scan lines appearing in my vidoes. I tried using Pinnacle Studio 9 (uses the Pinnacle DV codec) and Windows Movie Maker (uses Sony DV codec) and both have same results. It seems to happen most when there is motion. I know it's not the camcorder because when I playback on the screen or connected to a monitor it comes out clear without these scan lines. I've attached a still of a video example of the scan lines to show you what I mean. Please let me know if there is another program or codec I should use when ripping my videos to get rid of these scan lines thanks.

    FYI if you view them in movie maker or better yet PowerDVD you'll see them magically disappear.
