Hello,
I have used dvd2svcd V1.0.6 build 1 to backup a DVD (actually I've tried more than one). The mpg files are created okay and I can view them in windows media player. They play to the end and stop as they should.
I've then used 'fireburner' V2.1.2 to burn the CD's. The CD's play okay until the last twenty seconds when the DVD player stutters, freezes and then locks up - the change CD icon never appears. This happens both on my standalone player and the player on my computer. I have to power off my standalone player or kill my computer player. When I put the next CD in I've missed about ten seconds of the film.
I've tried making the CD's '730' in length, the resulting 73 minutes was then burned onto an 80 minute CD just in case it was an end of CD error, but that made no difference.
What could possibly be the problem? I've run out of things to try.
I'm using Windows XP.
Thanks for any help.
Pete.
