Nero Crashes when click of burn button

Every single time i attempt to burn a VCD with Nero as soon as I click the burn button the program crashes and goes straight back to desktop. I am using the newest version of Nero out. If anyone knows of or may have some advice on the problem that would be great, also if anyone knows a working link to a older version that would be great as well thanks

Nero comes with it's own ASPI layer, but it doesn't seem to work on/for all PC. Check which APSI you have installed and if need get the newest verison from adaptec. This seems to help some people that have had a problem similar to yours.

Ok downloaded and installed the newest ASPI drivers from Adeptec for my os but same thing crashes when i hit the burn button. Guess ill have to use another program to burn with
