Hi, i am new here, and really really need lots of help

I recently bought two sets of drama VCDs, one of the set is working fine on my pc (i am using VCD plus and Xingmpeg player) however with the other set, they only play for 15 minutes then freeze (as suppose to 45 min). When i try to play it in DVD player it playback the whole 45 mins, so anything wrong here? some said it's a prob with my pc? what could go wrong?
