I use Realplayer 8 and TINRA on streaming clips (.rm).
For a lot of clips it works fine but for some clips the autoupdate feature contacts real-servers for the update of realplayer to realone player. I don't want that because TINRA is not working properly with realone.
I disabled the startcenter but for some clips the player keeps asking for an update (and TINRA will not work).
Does anyone know how to resolve this and disable this feature completely so i don't get this annoying questions again.
TIA !

Are you certain that it's trying to update the player? RM files need codecs too and possibly what's happening here is you have a RM that needs a codec not currently on your system - so it will always try to get it from the Real Web Site.
If this is the case, just play the RM in the R8 player and let it get the codec then TINRA should work.
