    Does anyone know if the 2800 plays SVCD, VCD and any of the unofficial VCD formats?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    try this and also download the pdf files in "i":

    it says VCD, CD-R and CD-RW "yes",
    SVCD, CVD, Photo CD, CD-ROM (except mp3),VSD's and a few other "NO".
