ATI AIW Pro - sound trouble

I am unable to capture sound using VirtualDub and the software that came with the card.

I do have the output from the videocard into the line-in on the video card but still no sound.

Any suggestions??

instead of using the ATI pass-through, just record directly from the soundcard's line-in. also check the volume levels for RECORDING (not PLAYBACK) in windows control panel, as ATI MMC resets them to what it wants when it's used

How do I de-select the ATI pass-through, and select the soundcard's line-in?

If I'm recording from the composite Video or S-video I could run the audio directly to the line-in. But how would I do this recording from the television?
