  1. Ok I installed VCDEasy and when I tried to enable CDRDAO Integration i would get this error message about a .dll not found, so I went to the tools page in this site and downloaded the newest Aspi drivers (4.71.2). I have WinXP and followed the instructions for my OS. I rebooted and tried enabling CDRDAO again, then when I restarted the program I get this message:

"No CD Writer/reader found or ASPI driver problem"

I always use NERO without any probs to burn stuff, so im guessing its an ASPi driver problem. How do I fix this?

BTW, I want to use VCDEasy to see if it fixes my "SVCD wont FF or RW problem".

  2. Nevermind fixed this

BTW, you need to download and install the ForceAspi drivers

  3. If Adaptec could only make their installation routine as good as ForceASPI...

  5. You use Winzip to unzip the archive into any temporary folder you want. Make sure you have to "maintain folder" (or something like that) option checked.

Then read the text file that comes with ForceASPI.

In any case, to install the drivers, you double click on the batch file that has the word "install" in the filename (I don't remember what the file is called exactly but it should be pretty obvious).
