  1. I've become quite familiar with VCD and SVCD creation for my Apex AD600(A) player. The XVCD image file sample on this site seemed to work fine as well with no problems at all!

I made my own MPEG (same as VCD except at a 2.5 M/bitrate) and tried to burn an XVCD file with Nero but it didn't seem to work at all on my player! I read an older post saying I should make an image file first, that didn't work either Does anyone else have the Nero 5.0 version that can make an XVCD that works??? Or have any suggestions??

  3. I think that was the problem, I just had to update my Nero version to 5.5. XVCD encoding is a LOT faster than making SVCD. I changed not only the video data rate but also the audio. Nero even recognized my MPEG as a valid VCD 2.0 compliant file! Thanks T-Rad!
