  1. Hello,

When I play a DVD created with Ulead's DVD Workshop in my standalone player I can't fast forward or rewind across chapters.

It's gotta be something I'm missing in the authoring process but I can't figure it out.

    Can anyone help, please?

    Thanks!

  3. Do you mean ff and rew or next and back, and are these chapters within a title or are they seperate titles. ie is it 1 mpeg which you have created chapters in or many seperate mpegs. If it is the latter, then this produces titles rather than chapters, and some DVD players have problems navigating through titles with the next and back buttons.

  4. What I'm trying to do is make a dvd that acts like a movie dvd you might rent or buy.

In other words, I want to be able to ff starting anywhere in one chapter and keep fast forwarding to the end of that and go immediately into the next chapter without stopping. What happens now is that it stops at the end of the chapter.

My question is not related to how I skip sections/scenes/chapters.

Hope that clarifies it. If not, please ask again.

  5. When you author a DVD in workshop you can select when the title has finished playing if you want to return to the menu or play the next title. You do this by right clicking on the mpeg file in question and selecting the option you require. So right click on your mpeg and make sure play next title is selected rather than return to menu, see if this solves your problem

  6. Tried that but it didn't work.

By the way, I'm trying DVD Workshop on a 30-day trial. Are there things turned off in the trial version?

Geez, this is frustrating. I wanted to give this DVD as an xmas gift and I'm just not happy with it yet. The ff/rew issue is really annoying.

Hopefully someone else knows how I can accomplish this.

    Thanks!
