  1. I just have a quick question. I have a movie it's about 93 minutes long and it is 948,123,652 bytes in size. Everything is done i did all the encoding and stuff and so it is now VCD compliant. But is there a way i can fit this onto one single 80min/700mb CDR or if not how do i split up the movie? I am using Nero to burn my VCDs and all it tells me is that there is not enough space on the medium selected. If i do burn this on two CDRs is it possible to include other tracks because most of the second CDR will be empty.

  2. Go to the "tools" section and scroll down to "TMPGEnc Templates" (Download TMPGEncoder if you don't already have it--the link is on the "tools" page as well). 'Shizzon's' template will fit a 93+ minute movie on 1 (S)Vcd--however, it will not be compliant. Sefy's template will fit up to 100mins on one disc. You will need to re-encode your movie so be prepared to wait about 5-6 hrs...

  3. Oops--I forgot your second question:

You can use TMPGEncoder to split your existing movie also.
Go under File and click "MPEG tools". Click on the "Merge & Cut" tab and add the file you want to cut in half. Make sure the file is highlighted and click on the "Edit" key and you will be presented with a screen with a "range" marking at the top, the player controls at the right bottom, and
a position slider bar. Mark your video using the "Parentheses" on the rt bottom--the first mark (usually at the beginning) with the left parenthetical mark and the the second mark (usually at the middle of the movie) with the rt parenthetical mark. Then click on 'OK'. It will take you back to the "merge and cut" tab and all you really need to do is press "run" (you may want to click on the "correct" button to correct the list automatically to avoid errors). After a few minutes, you have the 1st half of your movie. Then follow the previous steps again except place the lft parenthetical mark at the middle (at the exact point you placed the rt parenthetical mark in the steps above) and place the rt parenthetical mark at the end
of the movie. Click "ok". Click "Correct" and "Run" and watch it go while it compiles the last half of your movie.

    I hope this helps...

I'm trying the second method with splitting up the movie, but when i add the movie into the merge and cut tab, it shows up as 0.00 sec and when i click on edit the parantheses are disabled, could you please help...
