Hi,
Well I just got the Sony DRU-500A DVD Writer, and am trying to burn SVCD's onto the disk. I have looked at the SVCD-DVD guide, and have followed the steps to create the DVD. I used the Ulead Movie Factory to Burn the disc. I have had 2 different results with the same disc i burned. I have 2 different DVD Players that i wanted to use them on:
A Panasonic RV-31
and a Sony DVP-NS700P
I put the disc into the Panasonic Player and it plays perfect, no problems at all. So then i tried the disc in the Sony player and when i played the disc this time, I was unable to get any sound from the movie. Both of these players do not play the traditional SVCD way, but I have gotten both to work using the SVCD header trick on CD's. So I was wondering why would it play fine in the Panasonic player and why wouldn't it play in my Sony Player.I would love to watch the movies on my Sony player though since the players are in different rooms.
Any assistance would be great
Thanks
