I have connected a Sony Hi-8 camera thru a firewire to a Windows XP computer. Video is captured but the top of the picture is jittery. (Tapes play OK thru camcorder and TV.) When I made VCD and played back on TV thru DVD player, the jittery effect is apparent. I have tried capture thru trial versions of Video Factory, Ulead VideoStudio, and Windows Movie Maker - same effect thru all. I am using settings to capture AVI video at 720x480. Any ideas how to solve this problem. Thanks.
