I have a movie in DivX AVI file and also its subtitles in SUB file (the one MicroDVD can use). I know how to see the subtitled movie in my PC but I want to convert the movie in VCD (or XVCD) to be able to watch it on my DVD player.
Can anyone give any clues on how I can hard-encode the subtitles on an MPG or AVI file?
Cheers to all

Add subtitles with VirtualDub's subtitler plugin and frameserve to TMPGEnc

RoopeT, thanks for your reply, but the subtitler plug-in in VirtualDub doesn't work with SUB files, it works with SSA scripts.
I am having a go right now trying to see if SSA will accept SUB files and convert them to a script I can use with VirtualDub.
