I have created a VCD from my 8mm video camera. I cannot seem to get good picture clarity, however (fuzzy). Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this, or is just a result of digitalization of the film? I have an ATI TV Wonder capture card, and have tried capturing to avi and mpeg1 formats. I have also used TMpgenc, but with now improvements. I then tried Nero, again with no improvements. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

What capture program did you use, and what codecs?
Hello. -
Capture your video at atleast 640x480 using a MJPEG compressor at 90% quality or higher. Then use TMPGEnc to encode to VCD. It will give you the quality that is close to a VHS video tape.
