  1. Hi!

    I have downloaded a movie in SVCD, ie it's an MPEG-file. When I try to burn it as SVCD with WinOnCD 6 it says it has to encode the file. I don't understand that. I thought it's already SVCD?! Well, after encoding the quality is worse than the original file.
    What am I doing wrong?

    WinOnCD says it has to convert into PAL. If I say no (leaving NTSC?) then I get the message "Invalid MPEG-file".
    After the conversion to PAL the quality is bad: The black blocks at the bottom and the top are not entirely black, they change slightly from frame to frame.

  3. export file to hard drive as avi2 then encode with tmpgeinc the svcd qualityfrom from their encoding sucks use tmpg 4 great results
