Have you switched on PBC on your DVD Player?
Have you set the timing settings correctly in WINONCD?

Just as a point of interest - have you tried to following my tutorial. You can either get to the link from the HOW TO section on the left or directly from my site http://www.coyote01.freeserve.co.uk

Creat a new album, then in the SETTINGS box click the GENERAL TAB and change the time settings from INFINATE to how many seconds you want the pictures to be displayed for.

Tommo (or whoever can help!),
I just tried three times to burn a cd-rw for a photo slideshow with winoncd 3.8 without successfully being able to display anything on my Sony DVD player. I walked through the steps in your tutorial (great job, by the way). Any ideas on what might be wrong? Thanks in advance for your help! -

Try using CDRW disks. DO NOT FORMAT THEM.

Try using the setup facility on your DVD player and see if the option is there. -
I've got a Pioneer DV-343 (same as DV-535). Used TOMMO's guide. Works fine. (Except for sound tracks.. but that's a problem with the standalone.)
