    Hi there,

I’m pretty in making SVCD’s of my own homevideo’s.
At first I burn them with Nero, but wanna use chapter in my video.
So I tried, after reading this forum VCDImage with TSCV. Burning the BIN-file with Nero gave errors. Fireburner does work, but is very instable on my computer. I used 7 CD’s and only did work. Now I’ve tried CDRWIN, wich does burn about 650 MB on te CD, but create a CD wich is unreadable, even on te computer (with Windows Explorer).

Does anybody knows the problem, or better does anybody knows a solution.

  3. Hi,

You can try to get your hands on I-Author. This alows for very complex creation of SVCD menu structures.

first of all, nero is more or less the worst way to burn a bin/cue image directly (it has some unofficial pseudo support for it, but that's all) (if you really insist on using nero, you could try mounting the bin/cue with daemontools and then burn a direct CD copy w/ nero - it has been reported to work better)

as to cdrwin, well don't use any key generator, should this apply to your case, that's the reason why cdrwin creates coasters...

An easy fixer for this is: put the BIN/CUE in X:\TEMP (X= Your HDD)
And alter the .cue to match the dir.

Example: your .bin file is called VCDCD1.bin.
You put it in C:\TEMP (Example)
Open the .cue and locate the text "VCDCD1.bin" change this to: "C:\TEMP\VCDCD1.bin" by doing this, all my CUE/BINs have worked with Nero!

How or where can I get I-Author. I can't find information about it.
