I'm trying to create a slide show using Ulead VS 6.0 and have tried several passes. The problem comes with photos taken in the "protrait" mode, or vertical. In Ulead VS 6.0 the normal pictures are layed out in the storyboard mode, with effects, titles, etc,. no problem. I'm using the SVCD template mode. When the images are loaded in the storyboard, I set the duration of each one, and the "Resampling Option" to "Fit to Project size", which for sVCD is 480x480. However, when I come to an image that is shot in "Portrait" , which is vertical. I'm tried all three options in Ulead VS 6.0 and when I play the preview, the protrait images still come out incorrect, they are either squashed into 480x480 or look like a protrait image squashed in the vertical direction to 480.

One answer is to eliminate all vertical or protrait photo shots in the entire album,... but since I have 640 images, this would be a bad choice. Can anyone tell me a way to get my protrait images viewed correctly in Ulead VS 6.0. The three options that are availble for resampleing are;

"Keep Aspect Ratio"
"Fit to project size"
"Keep original size"

I've tried all three in the creation of a slide show and none will create a correct image of the portrait image.

Please help,... my kids are here for Christmas and I'm trying to make a slide show for them.
