I have just extracted the music & video from a Music DVd and burnt it to a VCD....1st time...thanks to tthe excellent guide on this site.

Howeve the DVD had 18 music tracks, but I now have a VCD with one continuous track...When I was extracting the music from the DVD it didn't look like there were 18 files...is there a way of replicating the 18 tracks on the VCD so I can easily jump to a particular track

    Thanks

I would load the big file into VDub and split it by hand rather than re-rip and convert it again.

    I don't think I explained myself well
I am ripping a music DVD (Celine Dion) which has 18 tracks
I want to preserve the original 18 tracks when I transfer to VCD

    Thanks

Still not what I was talking about.....Although it was interesting reading !!!

On the Celine Album cover (DVD) it says there are 18 songs, is it usual for these to be seperated as CHAPTERS or individual files, i.e. can be extracted (RIPPED) as individual songs

If it uses chapters I will try and see if VCD Easy can identify the chapters from my 750MB file
