I am ready to export my Premiere 6.0 project to mpeg2 to author a dvd using MyDVD. Did it yesterday and the result was beautiful mp2, but when played on tv, kind of a jerky motion. I researched that and found I probably need to reverse the field order. Ok, today I reopen Premeire, export to mpeg2, all settings the same, except of course for the field order, and I get blocky, crappy video, both when viewed on the computer screen and on tv. So I go back to my original settings, EXACTLY like I had it yesterday, and I get the same crappy results. No more beautiful video. The only thing that has happened between yesterday and today is MyDVD crashed when trying to author a DVD. Could this have corrupted the codec? Any advice?

premiere 6.0 had the ligos encoder and had a lot of problems ..
adobe switched to the main concept encoder for premiere 6.5 and the results are much better -- with the new update for premiere 6.5 (1.2 update) .. the results are even better
