    Have downloaded a movie with a avi extension that is a DivX rip. In Windows Media Player under XP states that codec is missing and can only hear audio...any help welcome, new to this..thanks

    <------------------------ Look over there and click the Play button. Scroll down to Divx and follow the directions.

    Not a problem. But if you're new to this there are quite a few buttons to the left that can turn up a wealth of information.
