    can anybody tell me why anything i play is green and distorted with xvid

    i have installed the codec but the picture is still distorted

    when i try to install ffdshow i get an error saying error opening file for writing c:\windows\system32\ffdshow.ax

    What codec you got installed?
    Is it one from a pack ??

    I had the same problem before installing this codec.....
