Ok, since I got the Avermedia VCR working I decided to just use it. I set the capture resolution 720x480 MPEG II. But when I get done capturing and went to Nero to burn it to an SVCD it said it was only 720x240. Anyone else have this problem?
I am wondering if it is time to return this card and get a Hauppauge WinTV go.![]()

Hi
If u capture 720 x 480 you need to encode it to SVCD size before burning to SVCD.
Try one of the programs in the TOOLS section to load your video and check out its properties.
480 x 576 Pal
480 x 480 Ntsc
Don't use Nero to encode your video.
PowerVCR works superbly with this card.

I can't capture at 720x480, the card says it can capture at that resolution, but when you pick it and capture with it, it is only capturing at 720x240
