Hi,

I'd need to record on-screen game action into a digital video file. Actually it isn't full-screen 3D-accelerated stuff; it's Macromedia Director content, but it has quite a lot of on-screen movement.

Requirements are that I should be able to capture it 15-30 fps in lossless compression format for editing and post-production needs. Crisp pixels, no digital-analog-digital conversions, AVI or QuickTime format.

I have tried TechSmith Camtasia and it's a very nice piece of software, but it fails to reach the needed fps. I have tried different settings but still with a lot of on-screen action it fails. There's also another software product called HyperCam, but I think it works very much the same way.

So, does anyone know any (hardware) solution for this?

Is there a product to capture DVI-D signal? (One PC runs the game outputting DVI-D and another PC captures the signal and saves it into a file)
