I have an SVCD that I burnt from cue and bin files using VCDEasy. It plays fine on my DVD player.
I wanted to try playing it on my PC. I don't have a software DVD player, so I thought I'd use the MPEG 2 codec (from the link on this site) and see if it woud play in Windows Media Player (7.1).
The codec appeared to install correctly. I opened the AVSEQ01.MPG file from the SVCD, but WMP just stuck on "media changing".
I thought I might have more success if I copied the file from the SVCD to the hard disk - the copy file dialogue came up, but the progress bar did not move.
Is there a special trick I should be using to get the video file off an SVCD?
(BTW, I no longer have the bin and cue files on the hard disk)
