  1. I have a divx file and also a microdvd .sub file for it. The only player that will play it with the subs correctly synched is Bsplay. when it plays it, it puts the subs in the letterbox that is not part of the divx file. This is good. However, when I try to convert all this to a vcd, the subs play on the picture, not in the black bar, and are also not in synch. Any help would be appreciated.

  2. there is a filter for subs for virtual dub. you can adjust position, and frameserve to tmpgenc as you encode. I only used it once, but the sync was fine.

  3. yeah, I figured out that the sub problem was just differing framerates of the movie and the subs. I looked at it before, and the subs, while I can place the subs anywhere on the video, i really want to put them in the letterbox that isn't part of the file yet.
