I cant seem to get this card to work with doing any avi capture , huffy etc I get major drop frames. My machine it a 1200 amd with 400 meg of ram, 7200 rpm drives Does great doing realtime mpeg. I loaded the latest drivers but no help . Thanks for any help

The "latest" drivers may not be your solution. Check this discussion about the "best" driver set and how to find the older files:

Not to be a whiner, but you can find a lot about the card by searching the forums here. Having tried the ATI TV Wonder VE, I'm very pleased with the Xtasy. Cleaner tuner, better picture, and it's a decent video card itself. Its accompanying software sucks, but you can't have it all...Animation and geeky reviews and podcasts at

I had the same prob, but I hadn't checked the DMA off on my hard drive in the system section of control panel. I did that and was off and running with no frame drops!
