  1. hi, i would like to know if its possible to do a DVD movie with .mpg files. like when u do a videocd with drag and drop the mpg files only diffrence with a dvdr. thanks in advance

    Burning DVD require a VIDEO_TS directory and authoring to create the required ifo files. Authoring software requires the files to be demuxed into their elementary streams,m2v and ac3 or mpa.

    Should be fast & easy with TMPGEnc if your sources are good ones and not corrupted in any way.

    And if you want you can author with Ifoedit too.

    and what does author means?

    TMPGEnc will do the job when the needed codecs are installed. At least a good mpeg2 codec should be installed, e.g. from Elecard Player.
    You should convert all of the files to the same target format/res etc.
